Chris Arima
Chris Arima founded Arima Law to provide fearless, client-centered representation to individuals facing the power of the criminal justice system. He brings a rare combination of legal training, military service, and real-world experience to every case. Whether you are charged with a misdemeanor or a serious felony, Chris is committed to protecting your rights, telling your story, and fighting for the best possible outcome.
Before becoming an attorney, Chris served honorably in the United States military as an Arabic linguist and intelligence analyst. His years of service instilled in him a deep sense of discipline, precision, and duty. These same values now guide his legal practice. Clients know they can count on him to listen carefully, prepare thoroughly, and advocate fiercely in and out of the courtroom.
Chris earned his law degree cum laude from Syracuse University College of Law, along with a Certificate in National Security and Counterterrorism Law. He also clerked at the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals, gaining firsthand experience at the highest level of criminal law in Texas. His academic work has been published in national legal forums, and he holds additional degrees from Excelsior University and the Defense Language Institute.
At Arima Law, Chris handles criminal defense, probation violations, protective orders, and civil rights cases involving police misconduct or abuse in detention. He understands that each case involves real people and real consequences. That is why he prioritizes clear communication, honest advice, and personalized strategies for every client.
When you hire Chris Arima, you are not just getting a lawyer. You are gaining a determined advocate who will stand beside you, protect your rights, and never lose sight of what is at stake.
